Shay + Mitchell | West Virginia Summer Wedding |

Shay and Mitchell met through young life in college- Shay was a freshman and Mitchell was a young life leader. Shay told me she made the first move and asked him on a hike even though the hiking plans failed the conversation was nonstop and they could have cared less. After that Mitch asked her on a “official date” where they talked each other’s ears off over ice cream. When I say talk a lot I mean it took her over a hour to eat one cookie because she was talking to him so much. A week later they made it official. After a semester in college together, lots of laughs, late night conversations, and adventures they both knew they would spend the rest of their lives together.

In the summer of 2018 Mitchell was invited to shays family vacation and they planned to take couple photos together at the end of the week. When the time for pictures came Mitchell is nowhere to be found. After running around trying to find Mitch her brother said he had already went down to the beach. when she walked down to the beach he had photos printed out and asked Shay to marry him- of course she said yes!
