After talking back and forth with Casey about this session, I could tell how outgoing Casey and Micheal are. She told me about their adventures, how they are fellow plant lovers, and I was so excited to meet them in person finally. Casey and Micheal met at a New Year’s Eve party in D.C in 2016 shortly after the ball had dropped. After they met, they soon realized they lived 4 hours away from each other, but they both knew they had a CRAZY instant connection. Casey called her best friend and sister that night to tell them, “she had met a tall, dark chocolate bearded man that she’s going to marry.” For the next seven months, they took turns driving back and forth to each other and fell for each other even more. Micheal then proposed in old town Alexandria, and 11 months later, they were married. During the day, we laughed, danced to Lizzo, and talked about how amazing the little Airbnb cabin was that we were shooting in. Casey and Micheal NAILED the entire shoot and were so amazing to connect with. Truly both of their personalities light up a room. I still stay in touch with these amazing people- thank you both for being so incredibly rad
