Let me tell you; I think all photographers or any small business owner can relate when I say it’s hard starting. Some people in the industry ignore your questions or ignore you when you ask for help- and let me tell you, that’s so hard on someone trying to learn. When I first started, I messaged COUNTLESS photographers are asking questions or advice on cameras.
And only a few responded.
Think about that I messaged over 25 photographers about what I should upgrade my camera to, and 3-4 responded to me.
Fast forward to today, I have found my community of people within the photography industry who I adore. We chat about our goals and dreams. We take photos together- and sometimes even trips heyyy to my Rhode Island Girls. I created Wanderlust Shootouts where you can meet creatives ( that’s where I met my gals I went to Rhode Island with) and create content and just have fun. I think this is one of the best things you can do too for yourself and your business just have fun and do photoshoots for yourself and get CREATIVE.
Try new things.
Step out of your comfort zone.
Ask questions.
So I encourage you to find a group of people in your industry that you can bounce ideas off of and, most importantly, grow together.
